Museum Exhibits,
The Stark Center

Housed within the Kinesiology & Health Education Department at the University of Texas, The H.J. Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports is the nation’s largest institution dedicated to the study of physical culture and sports. My primary responsibility as the curator at the Stark Center is exhibit development: I research, I write, I design, I layout, I curate, I plan, I coordinate, I deinstall past exhibits, I patch and paint walls, I install the new exhibits, I maintain them, I light them. I do it all. Usually, by myself. An intense amount of research, writing, and design is involved in the creation of exhibits. Because of this, there probably isn’t a topic or medium I can’t write about or write for.
