Kyle R. Martin is a third generation Calabrese-American, born and raised in Austin, Texas. He graduated cum laude from Saint Edward’s University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing & Rhetoric (Creative Focus). He has previously published short fiction and essays with a number of magazines, including Foxing Quarterly, Ambit Magazine (UK), and Fields Magazine. At just 23 years old, he won 3rd Prize in the 19th Annual Austin Chronicle Short Story Competition. With over a decade of experience, he has developed an impressive professional career in the museum world and currently works as the curator for the H.J.
